Evan got a new seat for the bath tub and he loves bath time. This makes it really east to give them both a bath at the same time!

Evan's Six Month Appointment Update

Nothing big going on here! He was 80th percentile in head and weight and 70% in height. He got two shots and his rotavirus vaccine and did really well. He was laughing as I was putting his clothes back on... The doctor thought he was doing well developmentally and that he looked "perfect". He goes back at 9 months where he will get one shot and his order for lead testing. He is sitting up well enough that she thought we could start him out on biter biscuits - I am sure he will love that! I was surprised he didn't weigh more, but he has started being more active and scooting around/rolling everywhere now and I swear he doesn't stop kicking his legs - ever!

We had an great time this past weekend celebrating Becca and Mark's big day! So many people had cameras - I didn't even bother lugging mine around, so I really only have a few shots from Thursday night! We are so happy for Becca and Mark! It was so great to be with our family and friends! Thanks for an awesome time and I hate you both right now as you are probably laying on the beach in Aruba! I can't wait until I get ahold of the pictures and video of Alex breakin' it down on the dance floor and Evan in his limo drive hat - stay tuned :)

Still just hanging out...

...we really just spend all our time in the bedroom these days, here are some more pictures of us playing in the bed. Alex had just got up from his afternoon nap and was having a snack. As you can see, Brutus lurks nearby, in hopes of any crumbs Alex may leave behind. Evan has just started sitting up lately. He can only do it for a few seconds before he gets excited and falls straight back. He will get the hang of it soon!

Happy Birthday Aunt Krista!

We celebrated Krista's 25th birthday at Michael's new house with mom, Granny B-B, Tim, Michael and Krista! Very low-key - BBQ, sweet tea and peanut butter pie - yummy! Krista is such a good aunt!

What's going on...

We don't have a lot to do on the weekends these days because we still don't have access to our first floor due to the kitchen remodel, so we have just been hanging out in our bedrooms! I did take both boys for a jog this past week at Lunken in the jogging stroller. Evan isn't supposed to go until he is 6 months old, but he is bigger than most 6 month olds, so I took my chances. He would have been great if he had his dinner before we went - he wasn't so happy about that. Alex tried to console him by putting his pacifier in while we were still about 2 miles out, but that didn't help, so instead he started pinching him until he bled. That didn't help either! What am I going to do with him!?!
