Alex loves these cars at Mary's so I decided to get him one for Easter. It took Tim like 3 days to put it together and this was after a lot of cussing and using a knife and a drill. When these pictures were taken, it was still a convertible...

...it took him awhile to figure it out.

Alex with Krista
Alex's Aunt Krista had a law school prom to attend and she got ready at our house! She looked so beautiful! Alex just played around outside while we were taking pictures of Krista and Michael - we attempted to get one of Krista and Alex, but he was more interested in playing in the bushes...

Alex - New Milestones
I am truly amazed... I went to pick Alex up from Mary's Friday and she asked him to spell his name for me and he did. It was so cute - he did it just like the UK C-A-T-S cheer! A-L-E-X, Alex, Alex, Alex. Then tonight, he started talking about poo-poo after dinner and Tim got him to go poo-poo on the potty. I have no expectations of him in this area, but was impressed nonetheless! My little guy is growing up so fast!!!

Trip to the Zoo
We went to the zoo today with the Pusateri's and Danny and Annie - it was a learning experience since it was my first trip out in public with both kids. Next time I will take Tim! Alex did not want to ride the merry-go-round, we had to sit in the handicap seat. I was trying to hold Evan in one arm and keep Alex on a horse with the other, which did not work out so well. For the train ride, I had figured it out - put Evan in the Baby Bjorn and hold Alex's hand! We had a great time!
Alex with Mommy!
Alex and Alivia after lunch...
Alex and Evan - little guy slept through the entire trip to the zoo! Oh and Alex has his purse!
Alex on the train.
Alex, enjoying the ride!

Cleaning up the back yard
Tim has been working in the back yard a lot and Alex always has to go "help". Today's chore - picking up Brutus' poop. Alex was ready and willing to take on the challenge since it involved carry a plastic bag around. Judging from Alex's expression, picking up poop is serious business!
Playing with eggs...
Alex was playing with his eggs and his new Easter basket, getting ready for the big Easter egg hunt...

Evan - Two month well visit
Evan had his two month well visit today and it was a good thing since he fell off the couch last night... Way to go me - Tim and I are going to win parents of the year, I am just sure of it. Tim was in the kitchen looking for the piece of the Ipod earbud that he thought Alex had eaten (by the way, we later found it on the floor and it was wet, so it had been in his mouth the whole time - when he saw me throw it away - he was like MINE), so I thought that I should come help him look. Apparently Evan wanted to come with us because he kicked himself off the couch and landed face down on the floor. I freaked out - but finally calmed down, since he only cried for a second. The doctor just scolded me, but otherwise he was fine! I should have known better than to leave him like that - he is already rolling occasionally from his belly to his back, so he is strong and determined - just like Alex, God help me...
So for his appointment update, he is growing fast - 90% for height, 85% for weight and we go back on May 15th for his four month appointment. He got three shots today and his rotavirus vaccine. He is medicated with some Tylenol and sleeping peacefully :)

Cookout with The Week's
Alex being shy, hiding behind daddy's leg - who knows why, he has known the Week's forever!
Not too shy to take apart their remote though!
Jonathan - what a cutie!
Jonathan is like - wait, mommy usually takes the pics...
