Evan really likes to "talk" - he is always smiling and chattering! He also is trying to roll over from his back to his belly - he is so close, but ends up looking like a pretzel.

Alex and his new water table

Alex has a new toy and he loves it! It helped me get a couple of hours of work done today while I was "working from home". Brutus also likes the new toy because it doubles as his water bowl...

Shannigan's in the kitchen

We brought the jumperoo down for Evan, he liked it, well, until Alex, came over and leaned on it and bounced him a little too hard. Hopefully he wasn't too traumatized. After Evan was finished, Alex insisted on sitting in the "seat". He is clearly too big for it, but thought he was so cool. Notice his fake Louis Vuitton bag - can't get in the seat without that!



Alex will actually smile if I ask him now and sometimes even asks for me to take his picture! Hope that lasts...

Brutus

He is still around, just in case anyone was wondering... He follows Alex everywhere and gets on my last nerve, but we still love him!

Alex is 21 months old; Evan is 4 months old

Evan went to the doctor this week and he is doing just great! He is 90th percentile for height, 85 percentile for weight and 75 percentile for head. As you can see from their stats, Evan is just slightly bigger than Alex was at this age, which is good - he is going to need the extra weight to keep up with his over-active big brother! Evan got 2 shots and his Rota-virus vaccine, which he loves, since they basically put sugar in his mouth. We will be starting cereal in a few weeks with Evan, he has been practicing sitting at the dinner table with us, so I think he will be ready soon! He goes back for his 6 month check up July 17th.

Alex has been a great big brother so far - he likes to hold Evan's hand all the time. He also likes to show you his belly.

Evan and Poppy

Granny and Poppy Burton came and stayed with us while Tim was out of town! Evan liked Poppy (these are Alex and Evan's great-grandparents)!

Aunt Krista graduated from law school!!!

We went to Krista's graduation, it was long and during nap time, but thank goodness it was nice outside, so we skipped the end and took in some rays... Congrats Krista!
