Alex and his new Tool Bench

During our kitchen remodel - Alex came to love the carpenter that was at our house everyday when we got home - Roy! He is the nicest guy and Alex aspires to be like him. He always was interested in Roy's tools, especially his big saw. Now that we don't get to see Roy on a daily basis, we got Alex this tool bench to fill the void. He also likes to be called Roy now too...

Still just hanging out...

...we really just spend all our time in the bedroom these days, here are some more pictures of us playing in the bed. Alex had just got up from his afternoon nap and was having a snack. As you can see, Brutus lurks nearby, in hopes of any crumbs Alex may leave behind. Evan has just started sitting up lately. He can only do it for a few seconds before he gets excited and falls straight back. He will get the hang of it soon!

Alex loved the ocean! He would just wait for the waves to knock him down and then when he was tired and had his pacifier - he would dip it in the ocean and then lick the salt off of it!

Alex and the pool...

So far, both days, it has taken Alex a little while to get used to all the people at the pool - he is shy for the first 30 minutes or so. The baby pool has a fountain in it that he does like to sit on and splash around. He had just finished off an Italian Ice and was trying to get the last little bit out of the cup in these pictures.

Shannigan's in the kitchen

We brought the jumperoo down for Evan, he liked it, well, until Alex, came over and leaned on it and bounced him a little too hard. Hopefully he wasn't too traumatized. After Evan was finished, Alex insisted on sitting in the "seat". He is clearly too big for it, but thought he was so cool. Notice his fake Louis Vuitton bag - can't get in the seat without that!



Alex will actually smile if I ask him now and sometimes even asks for me to take his picture! Hope that lasts...

Evan sitting in his highchair like a big boy. He has been in his chair for awhile, just reclined. Tonight I decided to let him sit up and try out the tray. He liked it!

Alex is 21 months old; Evan is 4 months old

Evan went to the doctor this week and he is doing just great! He is 90th percentile for height, 85 percentile for weight and 75 percentile for head. As you can see from their stats, Evan is just slightly bigger than Alex was at this age, which is good - he is going to need the extra weight to keep up with his over-active big brother! Evan got 2 shots and his Rota-virus vaccine, which he loves, since they basically put sugar in his mouth. We will be starting cereal in a few weeks with Evan, he has been practicing sitting at the dinner table with us, so I think he will be ready soon! He goes back for his 6 month check up July 17th.

Bathtime - TOGETHER!

We tried this for the first time tonight since I started back to work this week. So little time, so much to do... It was so cute! Alex was trying to help and was dumping the water on his head and Evan would just laugh. What a good big brother! Also, Alex turned 20 months old on Monday and Evan was 3 months old on Tuesday!

The Fire Cheif

Our friend Jimmy Lee stopped by the other day with one of the Norwood fire trucks(he is a fireman) to pick up his tax return and to show Alex the truck - but we weren't here! He did leave Alex this cool hat though. Alex wasn't sure about it at first, but he wore it around for awhile! Thanks Jimmy!

More Easter Fun

Alex's favorite gift from his Easter basket was definitely the bubbles, he loved to chew on the wand and eat the bubbles. We also went over to the Pusateri's for a little Easter egg hunt, Alex was so preoccupied by his bubbles wand that Conner and Alivia got all the eggs - they are fast. Oh well, he still has his bubbles!
