The boys - Ryan, Paxton, Jonathan, Evan, Alex, Connor & Rocco...

Add the two girls - Carolyn and Alivia...

Alex found a lizard in one of his eggs.

Evan exploring the park...

Looking for more candy!

We had an Easter Egg Hunt at the park yesterday - it was a little chilly, but the boys loved it!

We can play outside!

We are very excited about playing outside and getting our outdoor toys out! Lately we have been able to take walks in our new wagon and in our stroller! The most fun we have had is helping daddy in the backyard!

Alex - King of the Snow Mountain

For some reason, the City of Westerville, decided to dump all the snow from the cul-de-sac into Paul and Carol's yard. Although I am not sure Paul appreciated it - Alex sure loved it! Notice that he has no coat on, playing on a large pile of snow - thanks to Dziadziu :) I didn't mind - this was one of those 60 degree days - this snow pile was so big - it might be there until June!

Lilly & Diana - in Columbus

The girls are definitely growing - although they are still so little and precious! They did great on their first trip away from home and were little angels the entire time! Can't wait to see them again!

Alex & Evan meet Lilly & Diana

The boys really weren't that interested in the babies until we gave them permission to be - then they thought they were the greatest things in the world. Evan looked so proud. He particularly enjoyed rocking the carseat, which got a little out of hand. Now everytime I open the blog and show Alex pictures of the girls - he says, "Those are Uncle Matt's babies" - so cute!

Mary Beth's shower weekend in Columbus

Good morning Mr. Evan!

We are trying to eat - mom - no pictures!

Evan with his Godmother.

Alex finally gives half a smile - looks like he has his mouth full!

We went to Columbus for Mary Beth's shower and had a great time with everyone. It was the first trip where Babci actually had all her kids and grandkids in one visit! It actually wasn't as big of a zoo as I thought it would be. The big wedding is coming up - can't wait! See you at the wedding :)

Lillian & Diana

We made it to Indy this weekend to visit Matt & Lauren and meet their precious baby girls! I am in love with them, they are two tiny bundles of cuteness! Matt & Lauren are doing great and are so happy! They are going to be great parents and we can't wait until they are old enough to boss Alex and Evan around :)

Carol had two blankets made for the girls out of their late grandparents clothes. They are both named after their grandparents too - very special people :)

This is Lillian on her Cioci Mary Beth's lap - Mary Beth was in Columbus for wedding planning, so she drove the extra 6 hour round trip to meet her new nieces!

This is Diana, the smaller of the two! I was able to hold her a long time and even got to feed her - they are doing great!

Lillian again with Mary Beth.

Diana taking a nap in her chair.

Evan climbing the stairs

Evan started climbing the stairs this past weekend - Granny BB taught him (GREAT)! I captured some pictures of it today! He is a little demon and loves to make me chase him around now!

You want to see me climb the stairs mom?

Here I go!

I told you I could do it!

I am so proud of myself! Of course Alex was at the top
cheering me on!

Now let's race!

Friends at Evan's Party

Alex, Mackenzie and Jonathan posing for the camera - they look thrilled to be taking pictures!

Trying to get Evan in the picture.

Alex with Aunt Becca right before her and Uncle Mark painted his face blue with cookie icing!

Alex and his girl Mackenzie!

Evan and Babci!

Like I said, lots of friends came to the party, here are a few of my favorite pictures of Evan and his guests!

The Wagon

We got Evan a Radio Flyer wagon for his birthday - he loved it and so did Alex. It is obviously too cold to take it outside now, but we had fun riding around the living room with it! Alex said he can't wait to take it to the zoo once it gets warm outside!

Evan's Birthday Party

Evan had a great time at his birthday party - all of his friends were there and lots of family too! He especially enjoyed his big orange cupcake!

Evan is Walking

Evan has been walking around furniture and holding onto one finger for some time, but today, when we picked Evan up from Mary's, he walked right over to us for the first time, or should I saw he waddled over to us. We are very excited and scared at the same time! Now he will constantly fall or be pushed down by Alex "helping" him.

Evan is One!

Evan celebrated his first birthday while we were warm on the sunny beaches of Aruba! We had a great time and he loved warm weather. His favorite memory of Aruba was hanging out at the pool, walking around the stroller, over and over again or taking strolls with Mimi in the stroller. Thanks again to Ariel for letting us borrow the Joovy Caboose - what a great stroller!

I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. We have had a great year with Evan and he is such a joy to be around and a precious addition to our family. He, like his brother, is always smiling and has been the best baby for us. Recently he has completed his front grill and has 8 teeth (four on top, four on the bottom). The doctor at his appointment today said that he is working on some molars = sleepless nights for us coming up! He is still practicing walking, he has taken a few steps on his own here and there, but is working on his confidence. He is very proud of himself when he takes a step without help and thinks it is hilarious. He is a pro with his walker or holding onto one finger, so it is just a matter of time before he takes off. He eats all table food now and is doing great feeding himself (thank goodness - I hate baby food). He just started whole milk and so far is doing great with that!

I will be posting some pictures of the little ones from vacation and just around the house soon! I am having a hard time getting back into the swing of things since vacation :)

Mug Shot/Passport Drama

This picture just cracks me up. First of all, you can see his front two teeth and the big gap between them, but if you could have been there when it was being taken... What you don't see is Tim leaning as far right as possible while holding him against the white background.

For those of you that haven't heard me complain yet - we are leaving Saturday for Aruba and are having problems with his passport. The pictures I sent in the first time when I applied 12/08 (that were taken by a passport application agency) were rejected. We just found out on Friday, New Year's Day, of course a federal holiday. So we got these new pictures made on Saturday and have over-nighted the package to the Louisiana Passport Agency in hopes they can get it to us by Friday morning. If not, little Evan might get left behind! After talking with the passport agency today - it is sounded like it will be okay, but what a way to stress me out before our relaxing vacation!
