Coloring Easter Eggs

After Keeneland, we decided to color Easter Eggs. He didn't really get the concept of letting them sit in the solution for awhile and liked to dip them in several colors... What a mess!

Keeneland with kids

We made our first trip to Keeneland with the boys for Krista's big tailgate! We were really nervous about the weather, but it turned out to be a nice day! The boys loved all of the attention and watching the horses! I was super-impressed that they lasted until about 4pm!

Alex the Bunny

Alex made this hat at Mary's - he liked being the "Bunny".

Eating Pop-a-sicles

Alex and Evan love their Popsicles. Christie gave us the great idea of freezing the Go-gurts! At least they both sit down nicely when they are eating them...

Evan, fine - I will hold you!

Evan is going through a stage, where he wants to be held constantly, but I can't get anything done - so I pulled out the backpack carrier and tried it out - he loves it! He stops crying instantly when I put him in this and then he just lays his head down on my back and rests - so cute! (Excuse my appearance - just got home from running a 15K and Alex won't let me wear my hair in a ponytail anymore)!

Jonathan's 2nd Birthday Party!

The birthday boy!

Alex & Evan loved Jonathan's new birthday present - a sand table!

Especially Evan - he ate a lot of sand yesterday...

All the kids loved it!
Brad & Holly had a cookout for Jonathan's 2nd birthday - we had a great time!

Alex & Evan at the park

So into his big brother (reminds me of a video of Tim and his brother)

Smiling for me!!!

Where did the Easter bunny go?

More pictures from the park yesterday! Can't believe that we got them to sit still long enough to take these...

My Little Monsters!

This is a good shot of Evan's chipped tooth! My little redneck :)

They sure are cute, but they are rotten!

Swinging at the park

This was the first time Evan was on the swings - he really liked it! Alex actually was able to get on the regular swing too by himself and held on really well, didn't get a picture of that though.

Easter Egg Hung

The boys - Ryan, Paxton, Jonathan, Evan, Alex, Connor & Rocco...

Add the two girls - Carolyn and Alivia...

Alex found a lizard in one of his eggs.

Evan exploring the park...

Looking for more candy!

We had an Easter Egg Hunt at the park yesterday - it was a little chilly, but the boys loved it!

We can play outside!

We are very excited about playing outside and getting our outdoor toys out! Lately we have been able to take walks in our new wagon and in our stroller! The most fun we have had is helping daddy in the backyard!

Alex - King of the Snow Mountain

For some reason, the City of Westerville, decided to dump all the snow from the cul-de-sac into Paul and Carol's yard. Although I am not sure Paul appreciated it - Alex sure loved it! Notice that he has no coat on, playing on a large pile of snow - thanks to Dziadziu :) I didn't mind - this was one of those 60 degree days - this snow pile was so big - it might be there until June!

Lilly & Diana - in Columbus

The girls are definitely growing - although they are still so little and precious! They did great on their first trip away from home and were little angels the entire time! Can't wait to see them again!

Alex & Evan meet Lilly & Diana

The boys really weren't that interested in the babies until we gave them permission to be - then they thought they were the greatest things in the world. Evan looked so proud. He particularly enjoyed rocking the carseat, which got a little out of hand. Now everytime I open the blog and show Alex pictures of the girls - he says, "Those are Uncle Matt's babies" - so cute!

Mary Beth's shower weekend in Columbus

Good morning Mr. Evan!

We are trying to eat - mom - no pictures!

Evan with his Godmother.

Alex finally gives half a smile - looks like he has his mouth full!

We went to Columbus for Mary Beth's shower and had a great time with everyone. It was the first trip where Babci actually had all her kids and grandkids in one visit! It actually wasn't as big of a zoo as I thought it would be. The big wedding is coming up - can't wait! See you at the wedding :)
