We went over to Lyndsey's pool today and had a great time. Alex got in the pool with Tim and just loved the water! We got to meet Tucker and see little Will again - they are both 2 months old! Alex missed the memo about it being nap time!
It was really hard to keep Alex entertained at the beach since all he wanted to do was eat the sand, so daddy bought him a boat to play in - he loved it! Stay tuned for the video of him playing in the boat and also exploring in the ocean!
Alex liked the beach much more this time, he has came a long way since Aruba. He really liked the way the sand tasted when it hit his lips!
We were in New York at West Point for a wedding on the 4th of July - Alex was sporting his patriotic gear for the occasion. We had a great time seeing all of our family and Tom and Jacquelyn's wedding was beautiful!
I have to document this...
For the first time yesterday I think Alex actually listened and understood what I was saying. When Alex crawls over to the fireplace he likes to stand up and bang on the screen - I always say "NO", but he usually just looks back at me with a devilish grin and does it anyway. However, yesterday he stopped just short of the screen, sat up and starting throwing his arms up and screaming in discontent, but at least he didn't touch it. I think he finally is understanding what NO means! We will keep practicing though - I am sure I have many more battles ahead!
We went to the Museum Center last Friday - it was fun! Mackenzie and Alex really liked to crawl around and explore the toys! At the end of the day - they were pooped!
This was Alex's last swimming lesson - he was not happy to be there or maybe it was the life jacket!
Alex attended his first Cleveland Indians game on May 17th. Paul, Carol, Matt & Lauren came to Cincinnati to surprise Tim for his birthday and took us to the game.
Alex recently enjoying one of his bottles, watching some annoying cartoon... I wish I was 9 months old again!
Alex has finally got his first two teeth! They are on the bottom and have barely popped through, but they are there! We noticed them last Monday, April 28th. Finally have a picture - thanks to MIM!

We went to the park today to get together with the Mom's group that Ariel has put together - it was a great day and good to see everyone.
Oh and Alex loved the swing!
