We went to the Reds game on Saturday and Alex hung out all nine innings - such a little trooper. His favorite memory from the game was drooling with his girlfriend Mackenzie - we were there for her daddy's birthday :)
Alex's new friend has arrived - born March 29th, weighing in at 7lbs 15 ounces and 21 inches long. He is a little cutie!
Ok - so we don't have a picture of Alex with Matt & Lauren or a full shot of his little tux - we are still waiting on Uncle Bob or Aunt Mary Beth, but here he is that day!
Then here we all are the night of the reheasal dinner (aka: the first reception)
We spent Easter in Columbus and had a great time! Thanks to Babci for all the clothes and the gift card to Babies R' US for Alex and other nice gift cards for mom & dad! 
We got quite a bit of snow over the weekend! We took Alex out in it and he really wasn't sure what was going on and he couldn't move in the snow suit! He looked like the little kid from A Christmas Story!
We spent last weekend in Columbus with the girls while Tim and the guys were partying it up in Florida. Alex got a lot of QT with Aunt Becca, Aunt Lauren and Aunt Kathleen - we all had a great time!
Alex had to take the plunge this past weekend and get into the big boy bathtub - he loved it and also loved the adult sized washcloth - I think he sucked it dry :)
Alex really likes being in his room - he loves his little chair with all the stuffed animals and we don't know why, but he LOVES his changing table. He also loves to eat his feet!
Alex is so close to crawling - but every since we have got back from Aruba I think he is confused. Instead of crawling - he "swims". Check it out!
Alex recently turned 6 months old! How fast half a year has gone by! We took Alex to his 6 month appointment this past Friday and he was 19lbs 14ozs, 27 1/2 inches long! He was in the 80th percentile for weight, length and head, so he is growing very proportionately. We had his pictures made this weekend - he did great! I guess all the practice at home paid off :) Thanks to Aunt Beezer and Danielle for the wardrobe!
Mackenzie is still unsure of Alex - he has been trying to put the moves on her, but she isn't having it. This is the two of them a at Holly's shower. Makenzie started crying and had to go with Mommy, Alex looked annoyed...
We had a great time - Alex loves his Aunt Holly! He liked his new friend, Emily, too - she did this funny thing with her hair that he thought was hilarious! He told me that he just can't wait to meet his new friend - Will, Brandon, or whatever Brad & Holly are going to call him :) How about Baby Weeks until it is official!
Alex tried green beans today... He wasn't sure of them at first, but we think he is going to like them. The faces he makes are priceless!
We just returned from Aruba today - this trip held a lot of "firsts" for Alex. First time on the plane, first time out of the country, first time at the beach, first time in a pool. We had such a great time and he did so well with all of the exciting and new things!
He loved the sound and sight of the waves from the ocean, but was not a big fan on the sand in his diaper. The pool was a different story - he loved splashing around and kicked his legs like a little frog the entire time.
He found flying pretty boring and slept most of the plane ride both ways. He was a trooper and barley fussed at all when we missed our connection on the way home and had to spend the night in Atlanta. I lost track of all of the compliments on how good he was being considering the circumstances! Way to be flexible Alex :)
Alex loves his Jumperoo! In this video he is at Mim's around Christmas time. Thanks to Granny and Poppy Burton for this great toy :)
On January 15th, I finally broke down and let Alex try rice cereal. Granny has been trying to get me to feed it to him since he was 2 weeks old, she swore it would help him sleep better. Well Granny, he woke up at 2am after his first meal, so I don't believe it helped at all :)
He loves it! He gets 1 tablespoon at night around 6pm and is happy as can be to finally be included in our family dinners!

Today was Alex's first visit with Santa. KAO Brands has an annual breakfast for the employees and their families and Mr. & Mrs. Claus. Tim dressed as Santa's elf :)
